Descubrimiento y movimiento de Ponderosa / Ponderosa Movement and Discovery

Movimiento de Ponderosa y descubrimiento es una organización sin fines de lucro ubicada en una antigua granja fuera de Berlín en la hermosa región de Brandenburgo de Alemania. Esta granja es un lugar especial donde desarrollar, crear y vivir confluyen en un espacio cooperativo en la naturaleza de la campiña alemana. "Alentado por la belleza y la naturaleza que nos rodea, vivir con él, cuidar de ella y utilizarla en nuestras aspiraciones diarios...Algunas partes están en ruina, algunas partes son casas de familias, otras piezas grandes jardines; cada parte está llena de posibilidades." Estos artista vivo con las plantas, animales e insectos en esta parte de Alemania justo al lado de la frontera polaca. La comunidad que conforma la Ponderosa completamente apoyar el artista y el proceso creativo. Ayudan con esto por mentes de los pueblos inspirador desprenderte de lo que pensaban que el proceso creativo tenía que ser. Tienen residencias artísticas, Alquiler de estudio, alojamiento y mucho más para la persona que está lista para abrir y romper con la estructura del mundo del arte moderno. En su cuarto año en el verano de 2013, Ponderosa ofrece su programa de P.O.R.C.H.. Este mes tres programa da jóvenes y viejos una manera de tener un "intercambio entre profesionales creativos y un diálogo permanente en el campo de la danza y las formas conexas." Junto con su programa de P.O.R.C.H. de verano tienen talleres de danza, performances y danza festivales. Aurora Lagattuta tuvo el privilegio de trabajar con y participar en el programa P.O.R.C.H. de 2012 antes de venir a España para realizar su mujer One Show. Con algunos de los otros artistas que lo que en la granja en agosto hizo una interpretación de un poema inspiró a partes del "Dentro de La Ballena".  Ponderosa Movement and Discovery is a Non-Profit Organization located on a old farm outside of Berlin in the beautiful Brandenburg region of Germany. This farm is a special place where developing, creating and living come together in a cooperative space in the nature of the German countryside. "Encouraged by the beauty and nature around us, we live with it, take care of it and use it in our daily aspirations...Some parts are in Ruin, some parts are family houses, other parts big gardens; each part is overflowing with potential." These Artist live with the plants, animals and bugs in this part of Germany right next to the Polish Border. The community that makes up Ponderosa, fully support the artist and the creative process. They help with this by inspiring peoples minds to let go of what they thought the creative process had to be. They have artist residencies, studio rental, lodging and much more for the person that is ready to open up and break away from the structure of the modern art world. In its forth year in the summer on 2013, Ponderosa offers their P.O.R.C.H. Program. This three month Program gives young and old a way to have a "mutual exchange between creative professionals and an an ongoing dialogue in the field of Dance and related forms." Along with their Summer P.O.R.C.H. Program they have dance workshops, performances and dance festivals. Aurora Lagattuta had the privilege to work with and take part in the 2012 P.O.R.C.H. Program before coming to Spain to perform her One Woman Show. With some of the other Artist that where at the farm in August she made a performance of a poem that inspired parts of "Dentro de La Ballena." Here are some stills and video of that performance.

La Caldera

En 1995, el Barcelona era un lugar creciente para artista y bailarines y encontrar la inspiración. Lamentablemente hubo una falta de espacio de creación de danza y otras artes. Para solucionar este problema, algunos colaboradores tomaron una vieja fábrica de correa en el barrio de Gracia e hizo un lugar que podría ser una plataforma independiente de la creación.  In 1995, Barcelona was a growing place for Artist and Dancers to come to live and find inspiration. Unfortunately there was a lack of creation space for Dance and other Arts. To fix this problem some collaborators took an old belt factory in the Gracia neighborhood and made a place that could be an independent platform of creation. This was the start of La Caldera. By making a place that can welcome a great number of creators, companies and creation platforms, La Caldera has become a leader in the Dance Community. This venue has found ways to help the city realize its creative expression. They have given the support needed to help artist develop new artistic paths. This is a place where Art lives and breathes in Barcelona.

At the time the Choreographer was working at Kalani Oceanside Retreat in Puna, Hawaii. "Dentro de La Ballena" has taken the Dancer to four different country's and will be on stage for the first time in Barcelona, Spain on November 16. Here are a few words about the inspiration for the production. "I was inspired also by last residence in Bali. The stories around of Durga, the goddess of darkness, destruction and creativity really captivated me." Huffingtonpost.com compared the work to the 1971 American dark comedy, directed by Hal Ashby, "Harold and Maude" and the story of Jonah and the whale. This story from the book of Jonah, is about when Jonah runs from his fate. He was then hurled into the sea and swallowed by a great fish. Bailarina Aurora Lagattuta ha elegido la hermosa ciudad de Barcelona para el estreno de su espectáculo de una mujer "Dentro de La Ballena". Casa de gracia para la danza contemporánea, La Caldera, ha acogido con satisfacción a la artista estadounidense con una participación de viernes por la noche este 16 de noviembre. Coreógrafo, Aurora Lagattuta, crea mundos que exponen la relación entre la magia y la monotonía. Dancer Aurora Lagattuta has chosen the beautiful city of Barcelona for the premier of her one woman show "Dentro de La Ballena." Gracia's home for Contemporary Dance, La Caldera, has welcomed the American Artist with a Friday night engagement this November 16th. Aurora Lagattuta creates worlds that expose the relationship between magic and monotony. "Through my work with young women I recognized a fear of trusting themselves, their pleasures, their passions and their power." Teaching dance and yoga to adolescent women inspired the artist to create a peace about self-discovery and trust. "I feel highly motivated to share a joyful perspective of empowerment that they [young women] can relate to." This show blends Contemporary Dance with Balinese and Butoh Dance forms, theatrical story-telling devices, improvisation, and original artwork to tell a fantastical story of finding one's own self.
